Shizuko “Sally” Aburamen, 86, of Hilo died Dec. 22 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and member of Higashi Hongwanji Mission, Anela Street Kumiai, and Lehua Golf Club. William K. Ahia III, 70, of Hilo died July 5 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the County of Hawaii and a member of the Hilo Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lorenzo “Dong” Ariola Jr., 73, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 13 in the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Ewa, Oahu, he was an industrial painter and a member of the International Painters Union. Beatrice Leina’ala Ho’okahi Nobriga, 87, of Waimea died Jan. 15.
